Troy McClain Chief Executive Officer

Over the last 15 years, Troy McClain, CEO of The McClain Companies, has demonstrated a proven successful track record in creating, running, and selling multiple businesses. With an added focus in unique marketing and communications strategies, he won praise from national media outlets, and a seat at the table of the world’s most respected business leaders including Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, and his mom.

Community leaders first took notice of Troy’s entrepreneurial spirit in the early 1990’s when he raised more than $250,000 from private investors to launch, market, and run one of the most successful start-up athletic facilities in Spokane, WA.

Using integrated brand messaging to promote his club, Troy wrote, designed, and implemented a healthy living diet and training program within the gym.  He then co-branded it on local restaurant menus throughout the area to support the membership base.  That base grew from 0 to 1,400 members in just 2 months.

Troy has come be known as a “go-to-person” for creative financing, business structure, implementation, and creating positive corporate culture.  For more than 15 years, Troy has been focused on developing marketing and communications strategies that drive sales and product distribution.

After structuring and financing more than $500 million in residential and business loans, Troy sold another of his companies to a multi-national financial services agency, Pinnacle Financial.

He has led leadership seminars for groups including Lockheed Martin, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Monster.com, and Berkshire Hathaway.

Troy has been recorded as one of Idaho’s history makers and received awards including the BBB’s “Integrity Counts”, Idaho Business Review’s “Accomplished Under 40,” and a Gold Medal from the 2009 Special Olympics World Games Committee, for his team’s contributions to the games.  The Honorable Dirk Kempthorne, former United States Secretary of the Interior and Idaho Governor, presented Troy with the “Seal of Idaho” for his work as an ambassador of the state.
