Last weekend, Crystal and I hosted a holiday party for my staff and some clients. It was a fun party, of course, but what stood out to me most was that all of us there had something in common. We are all entrepreneurs and we are pursuing our personal and professional goals, with passion.
My hope, and suggestion I suppose, for all of you is to party with a purpose this holiday season. Surround yourself as much as possible with loved ones and colleagues who are doing what they love and offering it up to something larger than themselves–like their community, their country, their charitable cause. When you do that, you make deeper and broader connections than you can imagine. And that will set the tone for an amazing 2012.
